How it works

  1. Drop your PDF. We read the text layer with the open-source PDF.js engine inside your browser.
  2. We find the transactions. Dates, descriptions, debit/credit columns and running balances are detected automatically, including multi-line descriptions and statements that span a new year.
  3. Balance check. We compare opening balance + transactions against the closing balance printed on your statement, so you know the export is complete.
  4. Download. Excel or CSV, ready for QuickBooks, Xero, budgeting apps or your accountant.

FAQ

Is my bank statement uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is opened and parsed by JavaScript running on your device. There is no upload step and no server that could store it. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

Which banks are supported?

Most digital PDF statements with a transaction table, including layouts with a single Amount column, separate Withdrawals/Deposits columns, running balances, and credit card statements. Scanned/photographed statements (image-only PDFs) are not supported yet.

What does the balance check mean?

If your statement prints an opening and closing balance, we verify opening + all transactions = closing. A green check means nothing was missed. If it doesn't match, review the rows before using the file.

How are amounts signed?

Money out is negative and money in is positive, for both bank and credit card statements. Turn on "Separate Debit/Credit columns" for accounting imports.

Can I cancel Pro?

Yes, anytime from the link in your receipt email. You keep Pro until the end of the period.
